EKConsulting is guided by a professional management team. Profile of the key management persons are briefly presented below
Emad Ul Ameen
Emad Ul Ameen is a Human Resources specialist having 27 years working experience in reputed multinational organizations and 11 years consultancy experience. Trained extensively in Corporate Governance and HR areas he has had a successful career in this field.
Prior to founding EKConsulting, he was Director and Head of Human Resources in leading multinational companies, such as, Grameenphone Limited, British American Tobacco, and American Express. He has also worked as Director (Partner) and Lead Consultant in Eshna Consulting Team Limited a leading consulting firm in the country.
As a business management consultant Emad has helped international agencies and many leading commercial enterprises including banks with their HR needs, strategic planning and corporate restructuring.
Khalid has 35 years of working experience in various multinational organizations at home and abroad and is one of EKConsulting’s founding Directors and Lead Consultant.
He has served in the top management team of Grameenphone for eight years in addition to being head of Corporate Affairs, Legal and Compliance, Business Development, Human Resources and Information Technology.
Prior to the above assignment, he served as the first country manager for General Electric (GE) in Bangladesh for nearly four years. Khalid is a recipient of prestigious GE president’s management award.
He also served in Telenor Asia group office in Bangkok as Director of Business Environment Management (BEM) where he was responsible for regional business development and international bodies for telecom.
Khalid’s career started with BOC Bangladesh where he served in various marketing and general management positions for 15 years.
Over the years he was extensively trained in various international institutes like business school of National University of Singapore, Stockholm School of Business, Telenor Top Management Training Center, GE Management Training Institute, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA.
Khalid has been a guest faculty in IBA (Institute of Business Administration) since 2004 where he has been teaching both undergrad and EMBA courses. He has been a key lead adviser for setting up strategic business directions for some large organizations like bKash, United Group, Meghna Group and Amin Mohammad Foundation.
Specializing in planning and executing capacity building initiatives to develop future leaders are the areas of present interest for Khalid.
Ferdous Ahmed is a turnaround management specialist with a record of deep industry experience in business management, value innovation & organizational excellence.
Ferdous Ahmed is one of the Lead Consultants of EKConsulting. He is a result-driven business leader & a hard-charging entrepreneur with skills in developing organisational capacity, strategic business directions & transforming performance-based culture. He is also the CEO of SIYB Bangladesh – affiliated by ILO, Co-founder of several commercial organisations and served as Managing Director. He served with GFA Consulting Group led consortium, Germany and BMB Mott Macdonald as Senior Expert for entrepreneurship development and business management.
Prior to that, Ferdous served 8 years in various senior managerial positions in Grameenphone Ltd. Even before that, he held a wide variety of leadership positions in Fortune 100 companies like The Coca Cola, Shell Oil and DHL Express.
He is a frequent speaker, guest faculty of some of the top universities & a high-performance coach/trainer to transform innovation & leadership into organisational growth and business performance improvement.
